Arm candy for Christmas?

Hey yall! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas, as well as got to spend time with their family and friends! For Christmas one of the things I got was new bracelets. Before I get started I also got a Pandora bracelet but it does not fit so we have to take it back to the store to get a new one, otherwise I would be wearing in the featured picture. The first bracelet I got was from "Bauble Bar". It is a cream colored knot bracelet, and I absolutely love it because it is so nautical! Second bracelet I got was from "Vineyard Vines". It is a gold bangle with two whales on each end of it. The next bracelet I got was from an "Etsy" shop, it is the initial L in the color tortoise shell with gold hardware. The last bracelet I got was a crystal-flower looking bracelet with the gold hardware from "Loft". Hope this was helpful to y'all, more to come on my Christmas gifts I got this year! Tootles, Leah

Rain, Rain Go Away!

Hey Yall! So lately the weather has been so confused! It's like one minute it's 70° outside in the sun is shining and the next minute it's below freezing and snowing! So I styled one of my favorite gingham shirts from "Target". It is one of my favorites because it's super soft but also it's not too warm so you don't burn up, I also threw on some jeans because who doesn't love a favorite pair jeans! I wore my favorite wool scarf and a pair of boots from "Frye". And since the weather was overcast that day I of course styled my bubble umbrella, which I'm pretty sure you can get it from "Target". Hope y'all enjoyed my OOTD! Toodles, Leah
Also I brought a pair of sunglasses with me because every now and then the sun can pop out! You can purchase these glasses off "Amazon".

Simple, yet Preppy OOTD

Hey Y'all! Okay, so super bummed that my laptop broke and that I couldn't blog for a few days!:(( But all is well that ends well because I got my laptop repaired, so it works now and I can blog! So this past weekend it was super cold, and it got down below freezing, Brrrrrr!!! I went to do some early Christmas shopping, run errands, and also stopped by Starbucks because when it's cold nothing's better than a hot peppermint mocha. I am seriously so excited for this winter, I think Thanksgiving through New Years is the best time of the year for sure! I recently ordered two new "Fraternity Collection" long sleeve shirts, one you will see in soon to come Instagram and Blog posts, the other I got to wear this weekend (which I am obsessed with!) It is just a plain long sleeve white tee shirt but it has the most adorable frocket (front pocket) on it. The frocket is covered with the cutest little American Flags on it you will ever see! Also I wore my "Marley Lilly" navy fleece vest and of course my black "Hunter Rain Boots." Here are a few pictures, hope y'all enjoy! By the way here is the link for the "Fraternity Collection" shirts if y'all are interested fraternitycollection.com Toodles, Leah.

School Edition x2!!

Hey y'all! So if you haven't ever owned a J.Crew excursion vest, let alone heard of them you are missing out! These things are the most comfortable, stylish, and versatile vests you could ever have! They come in Ivory (Cream), Navy, and black. I love to wearing these vests especially in the fall/winter because they keep you warm without having to put on too many layers. Okay now let's get down to business. First of all I've already talked about how much I love my Lily Pulitzer agenda, which I use every single day, but I haven't talked much about my binders. I used to print off monogrammed binder covers and stuck them in the front of my binders until overtime they eventually got dirty or torn because they're just paper. But this year I recently ordered my binder covers from Etsy! I love Etsy because it is such an easy way to get things customized, especially with monograms! All you need to do to purchase ones like mine is go to Etsy.com and in the search bar on the website you can just type in " Lilly Pulitzer binder covers", "vineyard vines binder covers" "monogrammed binder covers" or basically anything you can think of they make on a binder cover! It's super easy and they make boring binders have style and uniqueness. But if you don't feel like spending money, which is totally fine, you can just go to your search engine and type in "printable binder covers" and tons of selections will pop up. I have binder covers on all of my binders, and I absolutely love them! The second topic I wanted to let y'all in on is that I don't carry a backpack to school! Which some of y'all probably think that sounds kind of funny, because backpacks are where you pack your books in as you go to and from school. I have ordered a "SCOUT" backpack which is soon to come in,but until then this year I have been using my " LONGCHAMP LE PILAGE" Navy bag in size large to carry all my books in! I have fallen in love with this bag being used for school for a couple reasons. One, is that it is made out of nylon so if I ever get it dirty while I'm outside for anything spills on it the nylon is easy to clean. Two, Is that even though it looks smaller it is actually a pretty large bag. I can usually fit 4 to 5 of my school binders and 3 to 4 textbooks in my LONGCHAMP. So I can pretty much carry home whatever I need for homework in just this bag! I have been using this bag for a couple weeks now and it is held up so far perfectly fine. I also know some my friends in college is this bag who carry their textbooks, agendas, makeup bag, wallet, and any other necessity they need for class in it and they are perfectly content and use their LONGCHAMP all school year. If you are interested in this bag I bought my LONGCHAMP off of Nordstrom.com and the shipping was free! So this bag is great for school but I can't wait till my "SCOUT" backpack comes in! I hope some of these little tips and tricks were helpful and here are a few pictures of me styling some of my favorite school clothes and outerwear! Enjoy! Toodles, Leah

Also this skirt is the "J.CREW FACTORY MANY PLEATED SKIRT" from Jcrew factory.com
P.S. I do you have two agendas because I use one for school and the other for my personal dates and outings I plan month to month.
Here are just a few random pictures of me holding up some stickers! :) ILY guys!!! Bye

Falling into fall: Intro/School Edition 1

Hey y'all I'm so excited to start blogging again! Since school has already started I'm sure that most everyone has already gotten boatloads of school supplies for them and their mothers but there's always room for more, so I'm going to be doing the next two blogs on my school favorites in tips! If you go to private school like me (who has a strict dress code rules) sometimes it's hard to find skirt appropriate length and often hard to spice up your style when you're only allowed to wear solid colored shirts. This first blog for the school edition is going to be on how I add style to some of the simplest things I own, but first let me tell you how to knock out worrying if your skirt is long enough for school, and how I stay organized. I definitely couldn't keep track of everything in school without using my "LILLY PULITZER" agenda.   I love being able to write on my assignments in such a colorfully printed planner. It keeps me organized every day of the week, it helps me stay on top of things. Now for skirts,  there are three options that I use to help me find skirts with appropriate length. The first and most definitely my favorite would be the "J.CREW FACTORY PLEATED MINI SKIRT" it is basically just a skirt with elastic around the top. It adds stylish flavor and is so soft and comfortable! The second and less expensive way would be ordering a skirt from "SARTA DESIGNS". You can easily order custom made skirts to fit the length of your schools requirements and the staff who work for "SARTA DESIGNS" are so incredibly nice and convenient. The last and probably least expensive which is option three would be custom making your skirt by going to your local craft store and getting fabric to sow your skirt. All of these options would most definitely be key if your school has skirt requirement lengths. The second tip/favorite is going to be on how you can add your own sense of style two plain old boring outfits. My favorite way to add sparkle would be wearing jewelry. When you have gorgeous necklaces and sparkly bangles hanging from you, you feel special and equipped for the day in your own glamorous way. Also during the fall some of the biggest trends that you can wear would be scarves. There are all kinds of different scarfs to match your style and taste. The last three ways I like to add style to my outfit would be wearing belts, vests, and shoes that are unique in their own way. My favorite pair of flats I have are just a tope color but I like them because they go with almost everything I own. Also vests are super comfy and will keep you warm during the chilly fall weather! My two favorite vests are my "J.CREW EXCURSION VEST" and my "MARLEY LILLY FLEECE VEST" which I am wearing in a few of these photos. Lastly belts add color and preppiness this to your every day outfit.  These several tips and favorites hopefully will give you a peace of mind on how to style your outfits this school year! Here are a few pictures of me wearing the "SARTA DESIGNS" skirt and a "RALPH LAUREN OXFORD" while adding some bling. Hope you enjoyed these pictures, more to come on fall favorites school addition. Toodles Leah!
